If she, or any woman soldier is frightened of being raped, then don't become a front-line soldier.

The truth is, the captured sailors were in a blue funk about everything connected with being an active service soldier: Being shot, being captured, dying, being tortured, being mistreated by the enemy, being imprisoned, being hurt, being separated from each other, being raped (male or female rape), upsetting their parents.....
The Royal Navy is guilty of deploying gutless soldiers in an active service situation which disgraced the rest of our Armed services with their cowardly excuses as to why they were so easily captured and were so willing to grovel for mercy.
They behaved as they did for no other reason except that they were scared. Not scared of creating an international incident but scared simply of getting hurt. No amount of spin can alter the fact that these Royal Navy fighting personel just didn't have the guts to be proper soldiers.
